This module focuses on improving the theoretical knowledge of the educators regarding the different education methodologies, including formal, non-formal, and informal education. It also emphasizes the importance of using non-formal education for different target groups. In addition, this module will help the educators to improve their competencies on communication tools and soft skills required to address the specific needs of adult learners with a migrant background.


Key elements of the training module are:


  1. Understanding the differences among formal, non-formal and informal education methodologies.
  2. Adapting and using education methodologies to different target groups.
  3. Enhancing theoretical knowledge on non-formal education, including objectives, target groups, and setting up special NFE activities.
  4. Improving competencies on communication tools and soft skills required to address the specific needs of adult learners with a migrant background.
  5. Developing competencies on understanding the real needs of migrant learners and enabling them to improve their conditions.

 This module introduces the participants to Social Economy, providing them with general understandings of the main characteristics of social enterprises in the European context. It also emphasizes the contribution of social enterprises to social inclusion, with a special focus on the integration of migrants, and the soft skills required to become a successful social entrepreneur.


Key elements of the training module are:


  1. Develop a general understanding of the concept of social economy and social enterprises in the European context.
  2. The contribution of social enterprises to social inclusion, with a special focus on the integration of migrants.
  3. Soft skills required to become a successful social entrepreneur.
  4. Examples of successful social entrepreneurship experiences to empower and inspire beneficiaries.
  5. Encouragement for further study and mentoring in the creation of social enterprises, as well as presenting the sector's business potential and changing the mindset towards the labour market and further job and personal development / general growth opportunities.

This module focuses on social entrepreneurship, a movement for a more sustainable way of doing business and solving social problems through entrepreneurial drive and innovation. You will have the opportunity to meet outstanding personalities and true leaders of the movement in person and receive direct tutoring from them.

Key elements of the training module are:

  1. Sensitization to topics of inclusion, diversity, and envisioning solutions that "leave no one behind" (Principle #2 of the UN-SDGs).
  2. Broadening of the horizon of social entrepreneurship as a fast-paced and increasingly relevant field globally.
  3. Engaging in a fun and insightful role-playing activity to experience the spirit and purpose of social entrepreneurship and exploring topics of shared governance.
  4. First-hand experience of co-creation methodologies in action with a collaborative, inclusive, socially just, and democratic approach.
  5. Learning from outstanding personalities and true leaders of the social entrepreneurship movement.

The final module of the program is focused on taking participants through the exciting journey of turning their business ideas into a reality. In this module, educators will learn how to identify and develop what makes for a convincing business plan and improve upon their own that truly showcases their unique selling proposition as well as targets a specific market segment. Participants will also learn about marketing strategies and techniques to position their products and services within their markets.

Key elements of this module are:

  1. Understanding the process of developing a successful business idea from problem-solution fit to product-market fit. 
  2. Identifying the target groups, partners, stakeholders and secondary beneficiaries, and composing a profile and scope for their idea.
  3. Learning the various ways of marketing their products and services.
  4. Drafting a business plan while fostering their distinctive profiles that make them stand out from other existing social enterprises.
  5. Using the business ideation process as a starting point towards creating a clear map of how to create positive change and supporting solving global and local issues (UN SDGs).
